Most fixture problems are datum problems
When a fixture has no consistent locating scheme, every operator positions the part slightly differently, and the variation shows up downstream as rework nobody can trace.
Cycle time suffers too — re-clamping by feel takes as long as the operation itself, and it cannot be planned around.
We design the datum scheme before we design the steel
Every Redyna fixture starts from a 3-2-1 locating study against your part's GD&T. Hard locators go on the datums the drawing actually calls out, clamps go where they will not distort the part, and the load sequence is documented at the station.
On one machinery programme, that approach took 40 seconds out of every cycle and cut rework by 60% with no change to the part itself.
From hand-clamped to fully automated
We scope the automation level to your volume. A low-volume weldment might justify a manual toggle fixture; a line running three variants needs a changeover fixture with poka-yoke sensing so the wrong variant simply cannot be clamped.
